Warm welcome (and we mean it)

Having two mid life crises in rapid succession is a sure-fire way have your sanity questioned. Leaving work to do an MBA just when most of our pensioner-peers are hustling their zimmer frames along the peers of Florida was not enough. Vygantas and Paul needed more of a challenge, so packed their bifocals and slippers to join India’s brightest and best at IIM, Ahmedabad.Over the course of three months we will try to update you about life, people, travel, food, culture…whatever might come to our minds worth sharing with you. Stay tuned!

Thanks for including me into ur "recepient" list. You both look good in the picture... but there was something else which caught my eye - the red backround of the picture:) Are all four walls in ur room of that colour and design? Inspiring, isnt it? :)

Hi, Vygi.
Are you and Paul brothers? I guess you will be after 3 monthy in India.
I hope your will find time to tell about your adventures - I am looking forward to keeping close track of them!
Quick reply to both posts. Your comments reveal your interest to find out more on how we live here on campus. The bright cloth in the background is single bed sheet bought as a wall decoration to make living in our basic dorm cells a bit more pleasant. In fact Gujarat (the state we a re in) is famous for its textiles creating abundance of this staff of varying degrees of quality. Soon we will publish a separate post on our campus life.
Paul and myself are not brothers and try not to become ones very much. However it is nice to have someone coming from the same school. Especially when age difference between us and the second oldest student on campus is 5 years while average difference about 10-12.
could u pass one of my requests to the italian guy who taught u how to make genuine italian pasta with subtle oriental hint? - What do i have to add to half a kilo of wheet flour to make a perfect ravioli dough? I m ready to
share my lithuanian "koldunai" recipe in return :)
there is no surprise that traveling comes to the first place -thats why smart people choose india for studies:). I promise to be a faithful reader of all ur travel reports and i really enjoyed the first one. Thanks
